+## Emergency Changes
+If it's an __emergency__ and you need to quickly change a setting for **Profit Trailer** while **PT Magic** is running, you can make the change via Profit Trailer's web-interface (either via the gui, or the advanced mode which allows for editing of the files themselves.)  However, __the change will be over-written the next time PTMagic finishes it's raid.__

+## Temporary Changes
+This can actually be a convenient way to make a __temporary change__, that will only last until the next PTMagic raid.  However if you time it wrong, your change may be overwritten only a few seconds after you save it.  Keep an eye on the PTMagic process window and you will know when to make the change.

+## Permanent Changes
+If you want to make a __permanent change__, then the easiest thing to do is to update the settings found in the _presets folder in the PTMagic directory.  However, the change won't take effect until it is sent to Profit Trailer on the next raid.

+If you need to make an __emergency change__ to your settings that you also wish to be __permanent__, then you will want to first make the change directly through the Profit Trailer web-interface, and then to the settings file in the _presets folder.
